Slips, trips and falls account for almost a third of non-fatal injuries within the workplace. It is widely accepted that if minor changes were made to working practices and attitudes that this figure could be significantly reduced.

This course is designed to give candidates essential information relating to slips, trips and falls with concrete statistics and real life examples of where a scenario has occurred and steps on how the situation could have been prevented. Additionally, this course discusses the changes that could take place within the workplace to significantly reduce the chances of these events taking place and finally tackles this issue while looking from a management perspective.

How long is the course?

The duration of the course is 60 minutes of instructor led video content, with additional time required for answering interactive questions throughout the course.

Assessment

Like all our interactive e-learning courses that we provide here at First Aid Direct, every candidate is required to engage with the course material and answer multiple-choice questions throughout each module. Candidates must receive a minimum of 70% to successfully pass the course.
