This 2 day PHECC (Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council) certified course is designed to refresh candidates in all aspects of first aid response be it in their workplace or in any day-to-day emergency situation the candidate finds themself in. It is a comprehensive course that builds on candidates prior high level of skill and theoretical knowledge.
This course, formerly known as the 'Occupational First Aid Refresher Course' (FETAC Level 5), has been designed to meet the needs of first aid and basic life requirements within the workplace and is additionally approved by the Health and Safety Authority of Ireland (HSA).
The child and family governing agency, TUSLA, has also recognised this course as the standard for child care.
Who should attend?
This PHECC accredited First Aid Response course may be a healthcare practitioner, or a member of the public who has undertaken a First Aid Response course incorporating the Cardiac First Response (CFR) standard. Generally, it mainly includes those involved in the health sector especially those working in hospitals and medical care professionals.
**Note: It is only deemed necessary to complete this course should your businesses risk assessment warrant it.
An alternative option, is our certified Emergency First Aid at Work. Customers to date have found this course to be both cost and time effective. It is an interactive course that provides candidates with the fundamental practical and life-saving skills to deal with an emergency situation.
Cost
